1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Skill Academy platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Use of the Service
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation, to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising material, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
3. Accounts
To access certain features you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Skill Academy will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, course materials, and software, is the property of Skill Academy or its content providers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.
5. Payments and Refunds
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time with 30 days' notice. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Skill Academy does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skill Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Skill Academy operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
