These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Skill Academy platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Skill Academy, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are using Skill Academy through an employer or organisation, additional agreements between that organisation and Skill Academy may apply.
2. Use of the Service
Skill Academy may only be used for lawful purposes and within the access rights provided to the user. Users must not attempt to interfere with the platform, gain unauthorised access or misuse content.
3. Accounts
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for keeping account information accurate. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly.
4. Intellectual Property
Rights to Skill Academy software, branding and platform materials remain with their respective rights holders. Rights to company-specific training content remain with the respective company or content owner unless otherwise agreed.
5. Access and Commercial Terms
Access conditions, pricing, subscriptions or other commercial terms may vary depending on the agreement between Skill Academy and the relevant company or customer. The applicable contractual agreement takes precedence where relevant.
6. Availability
Skill Academy aims to provide reliable access to the platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability at all times. Maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our control may temporarily affect access.
7. Liability
Liability is governed by applicable law and any relevant contractual agreement. Skill Academy is not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the platform or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
8. Suspension or Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where required by the applicable company agreement, where a user violates these Terms or where continued access creates a security or legal risk.
9. Governing Law
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the relationship is governed by Swiss law. Mandatory legal provisions remain reserved.
